Nabz is built to stay light — pages are rendered on the server and shipped small, so it works on a modest 4G connection and on an old desktop in the reception. It does need a connection; a fully offline mode is not part of this version.

Every clinic gets its own database schema, so your records physically sit apart from every other clinic on Nabz — it is not a shared table with a filter on it. Inside your clinic there are four roles — owner, doctor, receptionist and pharmacist — so the front desk can register and bill without opening clinical notes, and the medicine counter sees the cupboard and nothing else.
That was the main design constraint. The daily screens are the queue and the billing page, both of which are a list and a few buttons. Everything else is optional.
